Another horror film after a mammoth ‘Aptha Mithra’ is this ‘Chandrika’ claims director Yogish. In his debut director Yogish has made ‘Chandrika’ in Kannada and Telugu.

The film featuring JK alias Jayaram Karthik, Dr Girish Karnad, Kamana Jethmalani and Srimukhi in the lead roles is also speaking on the ‘Guru Shishya’ system. Why Chandrika played by Srimukhi comes to trouble the happy married couple JK and Kamana Jethmalani? There is interesting background to it says Yogish. Sajid Quereshi and V Asha have produced this film. Yogish shot for the film in Madikeri, Sakaleshpur, Mysuru and Bengaluru.


The handsome hunk JK plays the role of an artist. He pays tribute to his Guru played by Dr Girish Karnad by purchasing the artistic house that is also a gallery. After he starts living in the house several developments takes place.


Kamana Jethmalani fifth month pregnant was present to the promotional meet of her film. It is the role of Kamana transform to Chandrika in a thrilling style. Chandrakala Mohan, MLA Narendra Babu are in prominent roles. There are four songs from Gunavanth.


The Kannada version on September 24th and Telugu version September 25th releasing says Yogish on behalf of producers.
